1. Guy Debord had a couple good quotes

and I like the art of Jamie Reid, who was definitely (in my tiny mind anyway) post-Situationist.

As was Stewart Home, of course, whose "The Assault on Culture" is mandatory reading for anybody in my unfortunate circle of friends.

2. Cool. It's a fascinating area of culture.

Not that anyone can define it properly, but I take it to mean the theory that the individual is most defined by the situation he/she is in, and that the active situationist should attempt to reveal the ludicrousness of those situations through demonstration and playfulness.
Of course, I could be completely wrong - that's situationism for you.
