It occurred to me that "Talon" is a silly play on words.

Just as a talon is an extension of the eagle's claw, so is this "news agency" an extension of our corrupted government.

The naming seems like a weak attempt at wit.

I think we would do well to do some digging into the origins of this organization.

Gannon/Guckert's articles are still up on GOPUSA even though they've been taken down at Talon. Bobby Eberle is a Texas good ol' boy who belongs to the Texas Lyceum Association along with *.
