So we CAN'T use the checks & balances to STOP a Tyrannical Govt?
we are apparently guaranteed the right to topple, overthrow, or otherwise cause to cease, any government that happens to be EXACTLY LIKE THE CURRENT ONE?

1. There's only one left
and that's the people, unfortunately, the people are too busy with tv and circuses right now. The reptiles hold the power, all three branches, if they get their shit together they'll cram the biggest shit sandwiche down our throats if they have a mind too.
The people seem to believe that voting for amerikan idol absolves them of their duty to vote in the real world.

2. I think you're too hard on the "people". They have been
systematically abused by years of expert mind control techniques. At this point most Americans are confused, concerned and very tired. They feel powerless to stop the bad train. And when you think about it, if the elections are rigged, the media bought off and all three branches of govt. in the enemies' hands, there isn't a whole lot that can be done.

However, we're open to suggestions. Slim hope is better than none.

3. I don't think that's true at all
Everywhere I look, I see Americans who are alarmed and disturbed by this criminal administration.

It is true that the checks and balances have failed (Congress, Senate).

There is hope via Howard Dean and the work of Conyers, Boxer and a few others.

Eventually an event of catastrophic proportions will result from the current administration's actions.

Because the system is too slow to catch up with the criminals, I am afraid it will have to come to that. When this happens, the gullible and misled half of the American people will catch up with the other half (us).

4. A little over 119 million people voted
in this election, the population of the U.S. is somewhere around 300 million, the difference between those who could take the trouble and those who could'nt make a hell of a gap.
Not all of those people are under 18 and too old and infirm to vote, if we could find a way to tap that energy, even a few million, I believe we'de never be bothered with these idiots again.

6. The next Pearl Harbor
You know, the one that will cause those in control to reinstate the draft.

5. Because those having the power to check and balance fail in their consti-
tutional duties, serving party and ideology rather than protecting, defending and preserving the Constitution and thus, our Republic. Breach of oath of office is a most heinous and reprehensible crime IMHO.
