as you can tell, they have mispelled al qaeda in this memo, instead they spell it "al qida"..... hmm i think to myself.... so, i go to the main page i got the memo from, and clearly it states "Bush Administration's First Memo on al-Qaeda Declassified" .....while im still curious, i went to dod.mil to search "al qida" not one document shows up for "al qida"...... to me because of this mispelling of al qaeda in this report, leads me to believe the bush administration had altered it, or reproduced it and it is not in its original written document....

serach results for "al qida" http://www.dod.mil/srch/search?template=%2Fsearch%2F&c=A3B245203F9EBEC5FC8C306E4AAF152F&c=8268333F54379065&c=6FDF5BD0BF338D19&c=1DA2190B5E9F39D2&q=al+qida&submit=Search&sort=-pub_date

4. My sentiment exactly
It isn't even the same alphabet. Essentially, someone arbitrarily starts using one phonetic spelling or another, and usually one catches on. Same is true for most Asian languages.

How many different spelling of Shanghai or Beijing have there been over the years...

3. Think about it - it was easier to not know how to spell al Qaeda
Think about it - it was easier to not know how to spell al Qaeda in the years before 9/11 than in the years after.

If you say they made a fake letter - they would only have done this after 9/11.

Everyone new how to spell al Qaeda after 9/11

Fake documents do not have spelling mistakes.

Your logic proves nothing.

There will be no magic wand that will open a trap door that George Bush will fall into. You have to put up with him for four years. Quit looking for the smoking gun. These guys are too smart. Their crimes are ones of the mind and changing people's hearts (and they leave no documentary evidence of anything - not even their previous policies).

5. Faking ignorance.....
...is the cornerstone of the Bush administration. People fall for it because they are ignorant themselves; not STUPID, mind you, but ignorant. One must "do nuance" to be able to differentiate between the two.

I contend that out esteemed president is coached on how to pronounce words such as "nucular" and "Eyeraq" to establish common ground with the populace. Surely with all of the money his family has, he could have been trained to appear a little more sophisticated than he does.

It's an act. The whole born-again-Christian thing is an act as well. I wish I could have heard that secret conversation he had with Billy Graham; I'm sure it would have been quite revealing.

Anyone who thinks Billy Graham and Pat Robertson really believe in God is just not paying attention.

Don't misunderestimate the opposition!!
