it's easy to paint the story per the script provided ... seems to me Mr. Hadley controlled the interview from the start; and, Ignatius blessed it, by saying "in this case,it's clearly true" ... Ignatius doesn't delve deep enough into 'the character' ... only a media creation PR glimpse ...

wonder how much stock Mr. Hadley owns in Lockheed Martin?

"it's clearly true" ... it is? I don't understand the Clark Kent comparison. Mild-mannered? perhaps ... but, so what? what about his background, associations, beliefs and politics?

he's part of the pack ... although in the past more in the shadows or in the shadow of someone else, i.e., Cheney or Scowcroft ... federal gov't career goes back to Nixon's day ... he was a lawyer for Lockheed Martin ... Ignatius doesn't mention anything about that or those years ...
