It's simply not comprehensible...
The Senators that voted for the war resolution never thought in their wildest dreams that Bush would invade Iraq pre-emptively and unilaterally. It would be insane. But it happened. And even today they cannot comprehend how he could do such a thing. They cannot wrap their rational minds around it.

They could not comprehend that a leader of our nation would so blatantly and overtly lie about the presence or non-presence of WMDs and/or nuclear weapons. It's simply not comprehensible that this same leader now comes before the confused Senate to ask for more money to rebuild the country he just invaded. But not just "more money" but much, much more money. The amount is not comprehensible to the average American. The confused Senate will look at it as anything is OK so long as it protects our troops...

Just as most people cannot comprehend that our leader may have permitted terrorists to strike our nation, on purpose. Then use it for political advantage. No. That is not comprehensible. Just as many could not comprehend that he and his minions would actually steal an election. That is something we have never experienced on such a great magnitude. We cannot comprehend. It is insane. Rational minds do not entertain such thoughts...

1. President Coked Up Frat Boy
He's like a junkie, going to his dealer for just one more high. "Fix me up one more time. I'll pay you back, I swear, I'm almost there." When are we going to cut this asshole off?

Ever known an addict, or been an addict, or been close to one? I see the same freaking behavior problem in Kentuck's post, for both the junkie (President Coked-Up-Frat-Boy) and the people (congress) enabling him to be a junkie!

2. Kentuck...
If we knew the government of PNACers were going to go in pre-emptively than why not the Senators.

3. and "It's simply not comprehensible..." that they did not oppose him...
when he actually did it. Instead they played it safe politically and our soldiers are now paying the price.

6. come on, when I read the war resolution and saw that it gave Bush
the authority to attack Iraq when he determined all diplomatic means had been exhausted, I knew there was nothing that was going to stop him from launching this war. Elections were pending and they were scared to step out of line.

WE knew, the rest of the world knew. These assholes stole the White House for G's sake. We knew before the election how it would be with these guys. I don't buy it.

9. That's why Dean's ahead. He's comprehends...
I'm not with Dean on every single issue but he realizes the big one: The Rovebushians are EVIL and INSANE and must be resisted with every ounce of our strength.

10. keep rationalizing ..... keep rationalizing ....
How come I knew Bush was lying through his teeth and they didn't?

It was so fucking obvious. It didn't pass the first test of good bullshit. It was a TERRIBLE job of lying!

So if they bought it, they're STUPID. And they don't deserve to keep their fucking jobs and they sure as shit don't deserve to have the presidency. I don't want anybody that guillible in the White House.

11. I just posted, but I'm so pissed I'm gonna post again
These guys made it PERFECTLY CLEAR that they were gonna invade unilaterally, no matter what anybody said.

It was so obvious my dog could have figured it out. They came right out and SAID it over and over again.

What did you think, that they were bluffing?

Christ, get real. Get a clue. Thousands of people are dead because "oh my God, who would have comprehended they would actually do what they said they were gonna do! OH MY GOD WE HAD NO IDEA!!!"

Good Lord that idea just fucking pisses me off.

14. even if he had something, Saddam was/is NOT SUICIDAL
he wasn't going to use anything that would risk his destruction.

Saddam was all about surviving. That's it. He wasn't going to attack anybody.

The whole fiasco was such a joke.
