OK Moderator, my experience has been that a story that looks goofy (like this one does), you usually lock it. But, I think that this story actually has some merit. It's the classic story of the little guy being pushed around by the Man (that would be the corporations, man).

RACINE, Wis. -- The battle of the beers took a new twist in Racine this week when a Miller beer distributor fired an employee whose picture was in the paper. He was drinking a Bud Light.

Last Saturday night in Racine at the Mardi Crawl on Main Street, a newspaper photographer asked a group of revelers to pose for a picture. The only problem was that a man holding a Bud Light worked for a Miller distributor.

"I asked him to tell me the reason why I'm fired, and he was like, 'There's no reason. We just don't need you no more,'" Aguero said.

To Aguero, the reason was as clear as his picture in the Racine Journal Times.

2. No such thing as freedom of choice anymore

as far as what you spend your money on. There was an article in Wired about how 80% of Microsoft employees own an Ipod! The bosses were a little upset but heck, it's their money. I guess if you work at Ford you can't buy a Honda even if it's a better choice for you.
