WatchingTheWatchers Launches Media News Beta Site
We've launched a media news site over at WatchingTheWatchers, in addition to the regular blog and forums. I would like to get the feedback of the people over here at DU, to see what you think and to tell me how I can make it any better. There are a couple of place to email and tell me what you think.

Thanks in advance for helping me make WatchingTheWatchers a place to really watch the fourth estate.

Thanks again,
~A!

2. Hell yes
I've already talked to the people running it, and we're going to be a member over at WTW.

It is an awesome, awesome thing.

5. All I know is that they were supposed to meet today. (Sat 2/12)
I emailed Larisa and sent info about my own site.

Just dreaming out loud here:

I've been thinking of the possibilities of the OSPA all day. This could be a way to set quality standards for online, non-corporate news-sites and blogs.

An an official seal from OSPA could separate your site from a LW conspiracy site. It would mean that you take what you do seriously and that your work is professional-grade even though you aren't getting paid.

Getting such a seal would be difficult, but would certainly be worth it.

6. It would definitely
be something worth achieving, but I think the problem is that any organization that gets too big is going to have the same tendencies, no matter who starts it or runs it.
