1. Rove has to send the exact results to the counters in Iraq,
As Stalin said, everyone can have a vote, as long as I am the one that counts the votes.

6. I saw Dan Senor
on Faux yesterday, I know slapped my own wrist!

And he was talking how Allawi was "jockeying" with the parties to remain PM.

That there is a lot of that going on, that some guy named Jafar is way ahead right now, but Allawi is making some deals.

So you know it takes a little bit to put the smokescreen out there and then make you see what you are sure you didn't.

they are

7. Good Lord
If the Iraqis do not get they party they gave the most votes to
as the majority party, look out. Right now we have the most trouble
with the Sunnis but if the majority Shi ite population does not feel
that it's will is being respected, Civil War. Mission Accomplished.

* is a fuck up plain and simple.

8. If Allawi is Prime Minister or in any other position of....
power, I will NOT recognize THAT "government". Allawi came in a distant third and he should "embrace" that position and let those who won the election govern.

15. A new twist in the plot
Allawi, Kurds Set to Form Coalition

BAGHDAD, February 12 – The two main Kurdish parties in Iraq have given their conditional go-ahead for a parliamentary coalition with interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, well-placed Kurdish sources have revealed.

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) asked, in swap, for Allawi’s backing for PUK leader Jalal Talabani to be elected president, the sources told Al-Quds Press Friday, February 11.

During a surprise visit by Allawi to Arbil on Thursday, February 10, Kurdish officials further asked that Arabs in Kirkuk be regarded as “refugees” who must be deported gradually to allow the return of Kurds allegedly forced to leave their homes by the ousted regime of Saddam Hussein.

Allawi nodded enthusiastically to the Kurdish demands in return for backing his hard-fought battle to keep the much-coveted and influential prime minister post. The Allawi-Kurds deal came after the UIA failed to entice the two Kurdish parties into a parliamentary alliance, Al-Quds Press said.

18. Glad I'm not on the ground in Iraq, collecting my halliburton blood $!
Look out, when the Shia are told to take a back seat. They have absolutely nothing to lose. They will not go down without a fight.
