I want my country back,
As does Howard Dean. Time is a wasting, as Bob Dylan penned years ago

4.  No one took your country---it is still here.
The fact that you despise the current president doesn't mean that "your country" is gone. You are optimistic that things will change, good, but you didn't lose your country.

Ask the French,or Norwegians,or Dutch what it is like to have their country taken from them.

Don't be so dramatic.

6. They trashed our American values and the thiefs gave us slogans
They trashed our American values and the thiefs gave us slogans, so yes they took my country and I want it back. The American values that this country was founded on have been forgotten. For example, a government for the people, separation of church and state, equal opportunity for all, freedom of speach have all taken a hit since Bu$h has taken office. What do we have today? A government for Corporation, a theocracy, discrimination against African Americans, Muslims, and Homosexuals, and a corporate media. I want my country back.

7. You might think it's hyperbole
but for those of us who don't believe the President should make a case for war based on lies, endanger our environment, bankrupt our country, backtrack on women's rights, engender religious theology as policy, make whores of the media, fail to provide basic healthcare to working Americans, and distort the very essence of our country, our Constitution, through the Patriot Act...for us, this is not America. This is a sad shadow of a great nation.
We want our America to reflect truth and justice. Not greed and posturing bravado.
We don't want to be victims like the French or the Norwegians. We want to remain Americans.
We need to be dramatic.
Very dramatic.
