Big News Network.com Saturday 12th February, 2005 (UPI)

Chinese officials predict that the next five years will be a golden time for their country's economy, with annual growth averaging 8 percent.

snip...
Wang said that the country's assets include a stable society, a large labor force and an enormous domestic market. But he said the country could be undermined by problems like unemployment, income disparity and the lack of a social safety net.

Great times for the rich and elite...Bad times for the exploited workers!!!

Its what shoes your in!!!

Thanks to the Chineese Worker we have cheap prizes... I wonder how long that will last???

2. Better not.
At that growth rate, the US will be surpassed in no time. Our 3% rate is pretty puny. We have to do something.

3. 3% U.S. growth is a fantasy as most of what we consume is...
...produced in other countries and all we are able to do is make ownership claims. When these foreign producers begin denying American corporations/owners the royalties and produce and sell our technolgy themselves, our economy will crumble.
