So you can't beat the SS benefit, just meet it?
Do I have that right? Under the privatization plan, your portion gets subtracted from the government's portion so you break even. In other words, you can't get more of a benefit than you would have gotten without the privatization. Right?

1. No - to the extent you exceed 3% plus inflation over 40 years you
get a small part of the account as yours that is in addition to the Soc Sec payment/private account require annuity that Bush plans to be the new lower Soc Sec benefit..

But the silly thing is that if you use the same productivity and GDP Growth assumptions for Current Social Security (rather than the 50% of historical - meaning very low - 1.6/1.8 assumptions in the current 2042 trust fund runs out projection) that are used for the private accounts

YOU ARE WAY AHEAD OF PRIVATE ACCOOUTS UNDER THE CURRENT SYSTEM!
