52 is such a nice number....
The number of warnings to the FAA that were ignored. The number of warnings illegally ignored by the administration. The number illegally suppressed during the election cycle.

Shall we make a deck of cards?

Just an idea.

1. I was over in freeperland last night
and believe it or not, I didn't see even one article on the "52". Wonder why they're not talking about that?

10. Freeps can't discuss those topics anymore. They'll get banned now if
they raise any point thay will cause their Chimperor's failures to come into question.

We've recently had a thread or two on their new censorship of members.

5. Just like the cards they made for Saddam and his croanies...
This deck will feature King George as the Ace of Spades, Condescending Rice as the Ace of Clubs...

3. Are These Warnings Published Anywhere? What Report?....
Are actual dates available? Who sent these warnings to the FAA? I could envision a playing card devoted to each warning - giving thumbnail account of warning, date, from whom it was sent and to whom it was sent. The reverse side of the playing card would have pictures of the burning WTC towers. Money raised in selling the deck of cards would go to set up an investigation into the negligence of the * administration for not doing anything in advance to prevent.

4. The number comes from the recently declassified 911 report.

I don't have a link and I haven't read the report, can someone give us a little help? Is the report available on the net?

-Hoot

On Edit: Yes that was what I was thinking, each warning gets one card.

8. the report is available
Edited on Sun Feb-13-05 03:11 PM by dweller
the link was provided here several days ago. In the 120 page report, page 55 states the 52 out of 105 daily intelligence summaries issued btwn 4/1/01 and 9/10/01 mentioned Bin Ladin, Al Q , mostly in regard to overseas threats.

i haven't found a actual list of the warnings in the report, but they may be listed in endnotes. Still looking.

dp

edit: found the link
http://www.familiesofseptember11.org/commission/commission2.asp?s=14#1015

you can dl the report (pdf) here and look for the warnings, but i don't think they are listed indiv.

2nd edit: endnotes to page 55 (above) starts on page 102 of the pdf. Unfortunately, but not suprisingly, most are redacted with (SECRET) appearing for the report # from the FAA. The whole file in fact contains much blacked out or redacted parts.

the info may be available elsewhere, for ex. the endnotes mention "numerous FAA documents, including agency accounts published in the Federal Registry in July 2001 clearly documenting the FAA's understanding that terrorists groups were active in the US and maintained a historic interest in targeting aviation, including hijacking."
