Neo-con psycho of the day: Danielle Pletka

Pletka is your typical neo-con: a phony intellectual, as most of the AEI fellows are; like David Frum and Natan Sharansky, she's foreign born and yet in a position to influence American foreign policy, but I guess that's OK if she's a neo-con from Australia rather than one of those pesky realists or institutionalists from France of Germany; she's a former Jesse Helms staffer; no military service (surprise, surprise); an apologist for Ahmed Chalabi, even to this day; and she's one of those prissy neo-cons who goes on TV to whine that we are still not spending enough on the military and to talk up a war with Syria, North Korea and Iran. She may yet be appointed to a post in the Bush Administration sometime in the next four years.
