2. Mike Walters mentioned knowledge of widespread steroid use by players
by managers, the players' union and owners, but zipped his lip as to the specific owner of the Texas Rangers when Canseco played there.

3. Sorry, but who the hell cares about this? Don't we already spend
too much time in this country on professional "sports"? It's a business just like any other business. The object of the game is to win. Morality takes a back seat to doing whatever it takes to come out on top. As far as I am concerned, the words "professional" and "sports" do not belong in the same sentence.

5. George railed against steroids
George owned the Rangers, Canseco played for the Rangers and alleged in his new book at he and apparently most of the team used steroids and George knew about it. Not a huge story, but not a "who cares" story as far as politics are concerned either.
