Howard Dean won the chairmanship of the national Democratic Party over the weekend and quickly began looking for a home in Washington.
"This is really goodbye to Vermont, for now. There's lots of work to do," Dean told supporters.
Eyebrows were raised after it was revealed that Dean's wife, Judy, will not be joining her husband in his move.
"She has a career as a doctor, her patients require her attention," said one Dean friend.
The Deans will join the growing ranks of "commuter marriages," with both partners living in different locations.

10. Self loathing, closeted homosexuals always hate women

since women represent what they see as "feminine" within themselves. It's an interesting phenomenon. It ususally goes on with a sort of hyper machismo, a fascination with all things military, and... well, you get the drift.

Joyously "out" gays don't seem to share this pathological misogyny, and we women have gotten very used to the idea that not all males find us utterly irresistible, so there's plenty of tolerance to go around there.

Drudge isn't really "out." He was outed some time ago. He'd fall very neatly into this category, which is why we can expect all sorts of bitchy but shallow criticism of how any Democratic woman leads her life.

3. I don't think this is a big deal! Congress people do it all the time.

Don't you remember hearing the reports of the airline who had Ted Kennedy on the watch list, and he was told he couldn't get on the plane...on several different occasions? They said he had flown that same flight almost every week for over 20 years.

Most songressmen have homes in both their home and DC, and actually maintain offices in both too!
