Seriously, the greatest trouble I gave gotten in with the DU mods and admins has *always* happened after I have been worked up and posting a lot. I've skated amazingly close to getting banned, by my count, no less than three times. Each time because I was volcanic and posting.

It's a good trick to learn, if you do plan to put in time here, to know when to take a breather and step away from the keyboard. Just mho.

Neocons are congenital idiots, and worse yet they are arrogant. I doubt seriously that she is still around (and in the current climate of idiocy I expect she would be grateful for that), but my high school algebra teacher, the venerable Ms. Lola Adams, used often to speak with the greatest disdain of those who were "dumb and proud of it." Dubya and his followers were never better described. Their ignorance is enough to infuriate anyone. Ms. Adams would have struck the Chimp and his ilk with the three foot long wooden pointer she always had in her hand for use, ostensibly, at the blackboard. "Ostensibly" because we always knew that if we ever really irked her it would be us on the end of that pointer and not some quadratic equation. God I would have loved to see Dubya in her class. She'd have killed him and thus spared us all the ugliness of his pResidency.
