Most underreported story of the day: Army recruiter shot at NY mall

A gunman dressed in black opened fire in an upstate shopping mall yesterday, severely wounding an Army recruiter and sending hundreds of panicked shoppers running for their lives.

"Did I kill anybody?" a witness heard the 24-year-old gunman coolly ask after he ran out of ammunition and surrendered to a janitor at the Hudson Valley Mall in Kingston.

The chaos erupted about 3 p.m. when the crackle of gunfire sounded from the suspect's assault rifle as he walked into a Best Buy store.

The blond gunman, whose name was not immediately released, ran out of Best Buy, firing wildly as he approached McNamara, who was hiding behind his pushcart in the mall's center court.

kids were mad at me cause i wouldn't stay and let them hang out longer... :scared:

it's a small mall and we were in Dicks just across from Best Buy where the shootings happened

The fact that one of the victims was a recruiter isn't relevant to the story. The guy was firing randomly.

Don't know any of these things. Do you? Firing randomly with 2 clips in a mall with probably hundreds of shoppers until he is out of bullets and only one guy gets shot? Amazing to say the least. Wouldn't you say?

The article doesn't say the other injured person was shot. Because he wasn't shot. According to every report I have read on this says he was injured by flying glass. This article does not specify how the other guy was injured. Sounds like your the one with the imagination here.

I had just read the thread in LBN that stated that the gunman was black according to Fox - then I come over here and see the gunman is blond - hmmmmm - natural blond? I'm just asking.....
