Could Sully be a payola pundit?

Hey,

The question occurred to me while contemplating the Aravosis/Gannon revelations to come. Strange that Sullivan decided to retire his blog just as the pundit payola issue hit the fan. Maybe my suspicions are aroused by the strange combination of private slut/public scold that we see in Guckert's case, so reminiscent of AS. For a long time many of us have felt that there was something deeply and seriously wrong about Sullivan since 9/11. Some have complained about his taking the money and running in the case of his blog. Is there a pattern here?

Just wondering,
