8. My question is this...Why is Gannon still alive?

He has something so big on the administration...so dirty...and that is why he is not only alive today..but also why he was given access to the whitehouse. This all happened...and is still happening..because he is blackmailing...and apparently has enough back up on the dirt he has on someone...and has it set up to come out if something happens to him..so..he continues to stay alive. I think that giving he the journalism status..seemed, at the time, the best way to keep a handle on him.
