Was Gannon the leaker to Novak? Was he setup by the Bush White House?

It would make sense.

This guy is easily disposable. He is "accidentally" allowed to view classified docs and unloads a juicy tidbit to Novak. This was maybe the first time in a series of events of using him to "leak" info? Seems he could be considered a center of the Rathergate "scandal". I still think that was a setup to discredit CBS and it would fit in with Gannon's persona.


But, the key question is, who allowed him to view those classified documents when he was obviously not cleared to view them? It had to be someone VERY high up in the Bush White House. Will Guckert/Gannon give up the 411 or will he just be a good little scapegoat and wait for the Bush admin to stall any investigation or get any indictments dismissed?

One of "Bulldog's" (aka "Gannnon" aka Guckert) testimonials reports that he is a well-versed conversationalist, and discussed politics.

I am thinking he was in such a political discussion with either a john, or perhaps an official who leaked to him as a "journalist" he could trust to get this info out -- who told "Bulldog"/"Gannon" that that pesky Joe Wilson's wife was a CIA agent. "Gannon" himself said he never saw a document (in one of his FR posts).

Or maybe the john or administration official thought he could trust this scuzzy ho not to say anything.

It's just a matter of tie before the identity of his "client" or source is revealed. Indeed, there is only a small group of people who knew this, so it is likely to be one of them.

6. We're Getting Close...

Still some pieces missing...but we have a lot more to go on thanks to "Gannon" than we had in over a year of the corporate media investigating. As one poster well put it here ages ago..."if the media wanted to find out who outted Plame, all they have to do is look at themselves"...no on in the corporate media has the stones to go against their masters.

There's the connection between "Gannon" and Blackwell's "Jouranlism school" (the $50 weekend course)...and that Blackwell's site boasted that "lecturers" included people who worked for Novkula.

Here are the loose ends..."Gannon" works for Eberle...Blackwell has a similar type of operation as Eberle...Novakula provides "lecturers" to Blackwell...Eberle sends "Gannon" to Blackwell's school. "Gannon" cites materials about Plame only WH insider had access to. Novakula outs Plame.

OK...we have dots...now how do they connect???

I'm just looking for dots to connect. Morton Blackwell was the instigator of those horrid "purple heart" bandaids.

Did Gannon have any specific comments, verbal or written, about those bandaids? I understand that "Jeff" was also somehow connected to the Swift Boat Liars.

15. I Haven't Seen Anyone Check...

Assume this is the "White House Reporter" for Talon News and the RNC definitely is part of his beat...or one would assume. So it shouldn't be hard to trace him to New York...and then where he was. Surely there are restaurant tabs, plane reservations or other trails that can peg where he was virtually every moment of the day.

Next, the Blackwell-"Gannon" connection is Blackwell owns the "Journalism" school "Gannon" attended...and according to Blackwell's site, Novak's people are regular lecturers. More about this is at Daily Kos.

I did do a quick google on another part of this puzzle...Bobby Eberle...and came up with this tidbit...

Blackwell is tied in with a lot of the Hillary smears in New York...he's tied in with the "stop Hillary" website. Similar modus operendi.
