Has anyone considered that Rove hand picked Gannon to be their press room patsy? Maybe Rove met him on a "date", slipped him a mickey and, next thing you know, he wakes up in a sub-basement of the Whitehorse with a pad of paper, pen and a lap-top.

Sort of a "Pretty Woman" meets "La Femme Nikita" meets "MANchurian Candidate".
