Fan tonight on the tv"news shows". I say perhaps a 1 minute mention on CBS. None on NBC or ABC.

What do you expect to come out of it? We're talking about a President who got away with torture.

I predict a plumb job at FOX for Gannon after this all blows over.

3. CNN did something on it under the cover of a blog question...
according to another poster, I didn't see it, but I guess Howie was talking about it in some context but probably was poo pooing it. Simple Scottie was asked about it at today's press briefing and was asked if he had discussed it with the President and Scottie said yes but refused to give details.

I think this could have legs, it may take time but, remember, Watergate took time as well.

5. the funny part is
this story isn't even necessary to prove malfeasance and chicanery in the bush white house.

there are many other stories already out there. RIGHT IN PEOPLE'S FACES, but NOTHING seems to touch this president.

infuriating, frustrating.

10. Yeah hidden in plain sight
Watched a show on the Discovery Times Network (high number on digital cable) this weekend about Iraq.

A documentary showing as they sent a group of National Guard soldiers from Arkansas to Iraq. Watching as they headed from the border of Kuwait to Iraq and the lead guy saying how screwed up it was they sent them into war with "Vietnam era equpiment." I watched as they found scrap metal to armor their vehicles and use SAND BAGS to stop the mortar and bullets and shrapnel.

This, the elective war, the unecessary war, in the Spring of 2004. A disgrace. A war they can't afford and weren't ready for. An unecessary pre-emptive war for????

I felt sad for the soldiers and sad for the Iraqi's.

7. tonight? probably none.
tomorrow, or the next day? Quite possibly.

This story seems to be quite a bit different than anything we've seen before.

What's that saying about a dead girl or a live boy?

9. You know, Rather has nothing to lose
He's leaving anyway. Would be nice to see him finish with a flourish and stick it to the misadministration.

11. You never know what anyone has to "lose" with the number of
hypocrites and closet gays in Washington and the bribing and lying going on, it's not telling what anyone has to lose. It just makes me angry to have so many people accusing others of being "homophobic" as soon as revelations come out about the misdeeds of an alleged gay. I choose to think of gays as I think of anyone else. They are inclusive of all kinds of characters, political persuasions, good, bad, evil, decent, indecent, truthful, lying, and hypocritical. My biggest problem is with the "closet" gays who bash other gays all the while pretending that hey are against homosexuality. It's like the pedophile priest who preaches against child abuse to me. They are lying hypocites and that it!! The most dangerous people on earth are those who will lie without reservation (as we can see by who sits in the White House). I don't care if they are gay or straight, black or white, Dem or Repub, conservative or liberal, atheist or religious. A liar is a dangerous person.
