Fuck AM 1090 Seattle's Progressive Talk!!!!!!!

They seem to be anti Mike Malloy! First of all, they never play him during the week, instead repeating the day's Al Franken during Mike's timeslot. Now, instead of playing his Randi Rhodes show today, they've put on bloody Friday's episode! This is so fucked up. Now I have to wait til bloody midnight to get the archive!

What the hell is wrong with this station?

Wanna help keep Progressive Talk on this station...the ones who need to hear from you right now are advertisers, not the stations.

Listen to 1090, find a local advertiser you'd like to patronize...the stop in...and mention you came there because you're a listener. Good chance the business will be glad you said it and word will get to the station. Also that the business may be willing to support more Progressive talk programming that would replace Sports which makes the station more money.

Be glad you've got a station to listen to. Chicago is still Progressive Radio-less.

8. Studs Turkel on WFMT is Liberal radio.

It would be wonderful to hear warm and lovable old liberals like Studs Turkel on progressive radio. He is deeply liberal, edgy and very pleasant to listen to. We don't have anything like him in Dallas.

11. Stud's Been Off The Air For Years

Also, he's almost 90. Stud's is one of the last of the 30's radicals. He came from my father's neighborhood and generation...kids of immigrants who worked in factories and saw the unions as their strength and defenders.

Chicago has other liberal voices that have long since fallen off the dial and others who would love the chance to speak truth to one of the most liberal/blue areas in the country.

I have heard Dallas radio (just posted in the Texas forum)...and you're in hate radio hell. Here's hoping the Dallas and Texas DU'ers get their own radio show and bring some sanity and balance to that market.

7. Mike Webb is good.

I can only listen through iTunes, usually hours or a day late, but I listen to Mike Webb whenever I can. Same for Thom Hartmann on radiopower.org, AAR (no stations in Louisiana).

I can listen to Ray Taliaferro and Bernie Ward live from KGO Radio San Francisco. :)

I don't know if all the AAR stations are clear channel...
But, the AAR station here in Albuquerque does the same thing. They don't play Malloy during the week. Instead, they play Lionel (gag).

the evening broadcast is encroached upon by a sports station using nearly the same frequency. The interference pisses me off.
