Yup, a personal thanks to the congress and senate for making everyone sooooo much friggin' safer.

Now a 20 year old might lose his leg. Great. Now you've stolen his opportunity to lose the leg in Iraq.

This country is run by morons.

:argh:

2. It's The "Compassionate Conservatism"
Take freedom away from the law abiding citizens but give the trigger happy loons the freedom to buy weapons for a massacre. The Republican-Way.

3. I would rather be able to own a gun and
not need it than not be allowed to own a gun and need one. In the coming years many of us will wish to own guns. Rapid fire guns. If the bombs fall on this US we will all join armies that require you to supply your own weapons. Shop early!! Beat the rush!!

4. Sorry, I'll take my hunting rifle over an AK-47 any time.
I'm much more effective long range with a higher caliber.

It's the Canadian in me. The whole concept of owning a gun to survive in the woods is alien to 99.9999% of Americans.

6. Don't let the Gun Nuts hear you say that...
They'll argue that EVERYBODY should been packin' an AK or Uzi, and therefore would have ridden in on their white NRA horse to save the day...

7. Your Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword!
Get real, because this sorry individual was factoring a negative, rather than a positive. Does not make his possession more meager than the sword..
I have an AR-15, and a couple of defensive weapons that I consider beneficial to the attack of of a police state!

9. When did they legalize AK-47's?
I was going to post a rational explanation of how the "Assault Weapon Ban" didn't do a damn thing to keep REAL AK-47's off the streets, but why confuse you with facts when you're mind's already made up, courtesy of Handgun Control, Inc. (A RW group, BTW)

10. How is handgun control a rightwing organization?

Every more progressive nation than the USA has stronger gun regulation than the USA. Sweden, the Netherlands. Germany, Ireland, Norway, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the UK, even Switzerland where everyone is supposed to be in the militia and have a military rifle doesn't have this irresponsible attitude toward weapons.
