18. I would like one of those! Have some nice hat pins I with pearls on the
end. Don't know where I got them. Will they work, or does the dolly come with it's own pins? Did you get it in Louisiana? Is it American made? Ok just kidding...

4. Yes, but...
...I think there will be open talk of impeachment and that some in his own party will join in.

5. As long as Corporate News continues in existence, yes
It matters not what ShrubCo fucks up or how badly. It will all be reported as either 'good' or 'not smirk's fault'

11. Representative Gerald Ford said it best....
In 1970, Representative Gerald Ford, R-Michigan, succinctly summarized this point when he stated: "An impeachable offense is whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history."

:)

8. No.
Once the media turns, he's toast. And the thing about corporate media is that it follows perceived public opinion. News is a product, after all, which the MSM is trying to sell to as many customers as possible (nothing new here--newspapers have a long history of pandering to the lowest common denominator). When they sense that the public has turned, or is turning on Bush, they'll follow. I mean really, what do we expect? True investigative journalism is an aberration--usually the MSM doesn't think it's their job to bring down an elected (sort of) president unless there's a big, obvious and preferably salacious scandal to report on--something that can be conveyed in a minute or two.

16. Yeah, but it will be amidst shame and scandal.
I'll predict there will be sufficient proof to impeach, but he won't be convicted because we lack the numbers in Congress.

17. nixon resigned in his SECOND TERM....about 18 months into the 2nd term

there's a LOT of things percolating for bush*...war crimes, a costly and failing occupation of BOTH Afganistan and Iraq are the MOST IMPORTANT.....everyone is really angry that bush* is now destroying America in TOTAL...removing Farm Subsidies, Privatizing Social Security, cutting all social programs....

this second term is NOT going well for bush*....if it continues, and the bush* wars spiral even more out of control....even the least little mistake could take bush* down....

that's what happened to nixon, with the Vietnam War raging in the background, and "Peace with Honor" nixon's promise, nixon fell over a very small and normally insignificant third-rate burglary, where nothing of value was stolen, and which everyday in DC gets a slap-on-the-hand and NO JAIL TIME......

that's why MANGATE is so important...it could be that last little "straw that broke the camel's back".....
