I have two questions about the Gannon's connection to Plame

Bear with me, since I am still relatively ill-informed about this. I've only recently started seriously pursuing the sordid affair and there are some things I can't figure out.

First of all, does anybody know when Gannon saw the files that revealed Valerie Plame's identity? Was it before or after the Novak article was originally released? Was he one of the other journalists to whom the secret was allegedly disclosed?

Incidentally, if it was before, his journalistic credentials or lack thereof are actually fairly irrelevant, since virtually no private citizens in the country could justifiably access information about unofficial cover CIA agents.

Secondly, and most importantly, I notice the careful use of the passive voice in the Hoyer article, particularly in the phrase: "was given access".

What we do points to a lot of strange "coincidences". We need to get a complete trail on "Gannon"...find out which government buildings and offices he went into (you have to sign in almost everywhere in DC)...and let's find out what our "ace reporter" was doing with his time.

I'd suggest you browse around what they've uncovered on Daily Kos and Media Matters about "Gannon" and his real bosses...and the many other questions that are coming forward.

The Buzzflash editorial tonight covers it pretty good as well. There's a lot still to be uncovered here and the corporate media will fight us at every chance since this story sits right on their doorstep.
