General on MSNBC: We must "exterminate" the Iraqi's who won't submit
I am not so sure "exterminate" is the correct word to describe killing humans. These people are turning into Nazi's right before our eyes.

14. Downing Could've Been an SS Officer
Downing has been on the war band wagon from the very start, hell he even gets to go to Iraq at taxpayer expense sometimes.

Every time I see him on TV I can actually picture him wearing a black uniform trimmed in silver with SS runes on one collar.

I have been tempted to send some of these clowns replicas of SS collar ranks and sleeve bands, but my wife keeps me in check.

Though one day I may do it anyway, if I do I'll post it.

8. Wow -- need a transcript or a show citation
What show was this garbanzo on? At least Hitler had the discretion to use a euphemism (the final solution); this is right out in the open.

White House counterterrorism chief resigns

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The White House announced Thursday that retired Army Gen. Wayne Downing is resigning his post as deputy national security adviser for counterterrorism, to be replaced by retired Air Force Gen. John Gordon, an expert in nuclear security.

Downing took the newly created post last October as part of the White House response to the September 11 attacks. His main responsibility, according to a White House release, was to organize and staff the National Security Council's office focused on combating terrorism, and an office of intelligence detection within the Office of Homeland Security.

At that time, Homeland Security Director Tom Ridge called Downing "a leader who understands terrorism, how terrorists are organized and what it takes to defeat them."

10. You Rarely Hear "Kill" Used
Except if it's some inanimate object...like we "killed a tank". Usually the military-speak is eradicate, remove or eliminate "the enemy"...like they're a pest control service. It also perpetuates the concept that the "terrorists" (including the ones we apparently pay for) and "insurgents" as rats and inhuman...making it easier for soldier to justify abuse and murder as "part of their job".

I automatically turn the dial whenever I see some military talking head on the tube...especially one with a Gen. Ret. after their name. The sham of this invasion and the worsening situation is always denied by these people...as they live in Rambo-world where the only way to solve a problem is to blast your way out of it. Of course, they're sitting nice and cozy in the Faux studios...getting paid to play arm-chair general...years removed from active military and decades removed from being on a battlefield.

My hopes is the international community will stop being intimidated by this regime's financial racketeering and speak out...how many more war crimes have to occur?
