Pat Robertson's bid to build up Congress over the Judiciary

Is merely an attempt to undermine the Constitution. We are a Constitutional Democracy. We operate in the belief that many of our rights are written in concrete. That the words written on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are inalienable. This is an illusion.

The Constitution is already under siege. Our rights are being stripped away by those that wish to push their agenda on the rest of the United States. The religious right and Corporate entities have been restrained by the regulations and rights we citizens enjoy. They seek to undermine and dismantle these words that protect us.

To this end they are assailing the branch of Government given the responsibility to defend these rights. They are demonizing Judges that stand up to power. They cry out in rage at Judges that overturn unconstitutional additions they try to force in.

They have been seeding the courts with their followers. The Federalist society has a strong hold. Now they are trying to shift the balance of power by proclaiming that the Judicial branch is too strong because they have been thwarting the supposed will of the people.

Our rights are no longer inalienable. There are those that for profit or for prophets would see them stripped away. We must rise to the courts defense or it will not be there to rise to our defense.
