Poll question: Is Judy Woodruff actually that dumb?!?!

or is she just pretending to be to somehow make CNN look dignified?

This is referring to the "How much of what the blogs report is driven by CNN?" comment.

and thought -- get a clue -- there is no room for you unless you start to investigate. Many years ago, now, I had an internship with a major political editor in a major market -- at the time they had a great investigative unit, but he was very fearful that with the corporate take over (GE in this case) those units would be cut to shreds, which is what happened. I think about that, and wonder if the reason we don't get anything of investigative value, much, out of the MSM is because there is nothing there but talking heads -- no investigators any more. Those investigative units were costly, and just reading the news (and God knows most don't even do that well -- Soledad the other day couldn't even pronounce "efficacy" properly!)is cheap.

5. Look y'all.... I thought that she was gonna dittle herself...

during the republican convention.....
since then I have heard her say things about the GOPgenda and then say we..... so she is clearly not unbiased.

6. In the piece they did today ... they actually admitted to some

resentment of the blogs by traditional journalists. Some day soon we will find out that some of these journalists are actually the source for some blog stories.

CNN is not our enemy. They just need to find their place in the 'brave new world'. Same as all of us.

Perhaps Judy is just one of the slow to adapt ones. Perhaps her job anchoring for 1 1/2 hours, 5 days a week doesn't give her enough time to learn about blogs.

Keep in mind that blogs are pretty new ... at least in terms of the synergy they seem to be demonstrating this week. And blogs have a thing or two to learn as well.

The word blog is not in my spellcheck – so I have to add it today.
