I'm starting to think God is on our side.
I mean, Bill O'Reilly got exposed, and now Gannon has been defrocked (by himself). It's definitely renewing my faith. Oh, yeah, and Alan "selfish hedonist" Keyes' daughter just got outed to the press (though she says the info was out there for five years or so).

Truth really is stranger (and better) than fiction.

2. The question is not if God is on our side.
The question is whether we are on God's side.

And I believe we are.

I don't recall the exact words with my cold-medicine-addled brain.

6. Problem is that nothing seems to
ever happen to them...they make these "mistakes" and they continue on RW TV/Radio.However, if they leaned left or were democrats....well, you fill in the rest!

9. So what? If there were a god and he was on our side these items would
make a difference. But they don't. Bush is still pushing a right-wing agenda and the stupid freaking country is going merrily along. Has the O'Reilly,Gannon or Keyes incidents changed anything in this country? No.

12. I think it's a God made meme.
Since our democratic leaders don't believe in memes or use them, (I think they should), God is doing it for us.

the memes are

lying hypocrites

no credibility

no mandate

no moral high ground

and so on.

14. This reminds me of late election night on DU
When someone posted "this proves there is no God."

Everybody got all worked up at the outrageousness of it. But darn if I didn't agree.

God is rather personal, that's the problem.

15. Sometimes God lets bad things happen
it's way of teaching us "lessons" I suppose. And I think that as long as you're on the side of truth and justice, then you're on the right side of God. One day we will be proven right and these liars we'll be proven for the lying sacks of crap they trully are.

16. Let me replace your hazy crystal ball with a fresh one
In four plus years of scandal nothing Bush has done has been rebuked or frowned upon at all.

Nothing has yet come of the Plame case, nothing has come of O'reily's problems or the mainstream media's complicity in general. Dan Rather has been forced into pre-mature retirement leaving no one who even remembers traditional post-WWII through Vietnam journalism in relevant positions.

By coincidence all the vulnerable Senate seats we need to defend are mostly in the increasingly red South where Frist will drag out the popular anti-gay agenda for all the frothing bigots. Mark Dayton will not seek re-election meaning that the once proud blue state of Minnesota will now play a part in giving the GOP the margin of votes it needs to implement complete theocorporatcracy.

Also the feel goodness to the American sheep flock of sham Iraqi/Afghan elections has given Bush and PNAC the vindication required to butcher numerous Syrian and Iranian civilians. Just as nothing brought down the great Teflon President(not even Iran/Contra) nothing will bring down Bush the lesser. The environment will continued to be fowled and the the economy will continue worsen for the average American all the while the organizational sources of money to oppose the radical right dry up from tort reform and the destruction of labor.

Game over man, game over.

17. Re: "I'm starting to think God is on our side." (CAVEAT)
As Krishna told Arjuna before the decisive battle on the Great Plain of Kurukshetra: Delight in the defeat of your adversaries, but don’t celebrate their personal pain.

There’s a big difference. Let’s just go from victory to victory & forget about mutilating “the enemy dead”.
