Is Rummy's statement abt criticism of Bush giving aid to the enemy |
|
actually posturing for further Patriot Act type arrests of dissenters?
Will public criticism of a president during "wartime" be construed as treason or collaboration with the enemy?
With arrests being made of anti-Bush protestors outside of "free speech zones" are they testing the waters as to public reaction?
Do I have enough tin foil wrapped around my noggin?

these people say these things because they've got nothing, but they have to say something. They can't just go catatonic like Tony Blair did.

Remember Tricky Dick's list of left wingers? The Shrink's office break in?
I think this group has less respect for law than Nixon did.

and Rove interned for Nixon's dirty tricks man, Donald Segretti, and John Kerry was on Nixon's list for his antiwar work.
But this Rummy thing sounds to me more like a desperate attempt to defend his failure, maybe even keep his job.

7. I'm sure your right... just because they lied their way into an invasion |

of Iraq that killed three times the number of civilians than combatants so they could dish out unbid oil related contracts to friends and family while giving tax cuts to supporters and raping ecological programs for the gain of a few large corporations...
This doesn't mean that they would try to silence anyone who might think that they are a bunch of thieving bloodthirsty bastards. I'm sure they welcome debate as a tool to find the best options for all Americans.

Ironic Rummy wants to deny Americans the right and freedom to disagree with their government while trying to give Iraqis the right to be free and disagree with their government.
