2. racism is the secret glue that holds these RWers together
they're all guilty of it, and can implicate each other, that's why the annoying "solidarity" --like accomplices in a crime, not activists for a cause.

6. It's made of paper mache!
Edited on Tue Feb-15-05 07:13 PM by David__77
It's a thin, edible rice paper bearing proclamations of "color-blindedness" that promptly dissolves when exposed to the light of day.

8. No. Most freepers arent racist. Its not true.
They're just ignorant. Most racist organizations may be fiscally and socially conservative but the white supremecist movement has been very anti Iraq war, believeing that it is a ploy for Isreal.

9. nope.
I made almost the exact same comment to a family member recently, and was lambasted for it. She is upset with me that I am currently not open to making friends with someone who is conservative. I guess that makes me a party-ist. oh well.

10. let's get rid of the genocidally prejudiced minority
if they are so gung-ho about getting rid of minorities, why not start with themselves? At least I HOPE they're still a minority. The way to get rid of them - and this is the devious part of the scheme - is by eliminating their prejudices through education and by us living as examples for others (gasp!), especially the next generation.

13. There is none
It's been going back 100's of years- the modern far right movement really started going "mainstream" when Reagan kicked off his 1980 campaign by speaking at Philadelphia, Mississippi about "states rights".

Most of the "conservatives" that you hear on talk radio carefully fan the flames of hate with their wife-beating male audience. All the talk on Limbo, Hannity and the rest is carefully veiled racism.

The right HATES minorities- except for those like Condi "one of the good ones" Rice and Colin "He's very articulate" Powell. But let them get out of line and stop echoing talking points and it's back to the back of the bus for them.

14. They mentioned the Qur'an...
I am not Muslim, but I am taking a Gender, Politics and Islam class. We are totally devouring the Qur'an, I have not seen any evidence of the hate one of those freeper's mentioned. They just repeat what they hear, they never actually read anything. There is one freeper that does all the reading for the rest, he gives them the info. and they play telephone with it. BTW his name is Karl Rove.
