I'm no "freeper" but...
President Bush has finally shown his cards and I must say... Bush is certainly going about the national budget in the right & truthful way...

By cutting domestic social programs, environmental barriers and useless government regulatory oversight agencies, it will now give the US an opportunity to increase the military budget in which to pursue control of the world's oil fields, which are rightfully ours, not to mention the again booming poppy fields.

Cutting domestic government waste will also help in making the generous tax cuts, (President Bush fought so hard for) permanent, which will help every American family.

Finally President Bush has it correct, and is not afraid to put his cards on the table and tell it like it is.

I feel he needs all of your support now, more than ever.

Please consider this when you walk out your door and there is not a single terrorist outside.

I know this sounds a little corny to you, but I feel more patriotic than I have in many years.

Oh sure Bush irritates me sometimes with his foreign policies, but as his budget shows, he more than makes up for it domestically.

I'm sure all of you agree?

Yeah, odd thing about those poppy fields, seeing how we have a full-blown war on drugs going, and as we all know drugs fund terrorists. Wonder how destroying those fields got overlooked. In fact, last I heard was last years crop was a bumper crop.

Things that make you go huh.

And he sure knows how to relax and get away from his problems. And it's nice to know the pResident goes to bed every night at 10:00 on the dot. It's good to have that kind of 'certainty'. Comforting, really.

And his wife? A study in poise, serenity and simplicity. And she knows her place.

His cabinet is loyal, loyal almost to a fault, all of them well-versed in their master's ideals. Come to think of it, the Congress and Judiciary, too! How nice.

And those lovely press people. They seem to think the same way, too!
Good people, especially that Judy Woodruff. Clever as a whip, I say.

Ahhhhhhhhhh........... here's the nurse now with my percosets. Lovely... lovely percosets.

29. Um, why did he leave out the expenses for Iraq and Afghanistan out
of the budget? A simple question.

Don't tell me because he is not sure of the numbers, they just produced a request for 82 billion more, not 80, not 81 or 83--but 82 billion.

34. I'm sure all of you agree?
Edited on Tue Feb-15-05 07:54 PM by 4MoronicYears
I agree that you are one dumb SOB. Other than that you seem to have it pretty well together. Let your IQ determine your party, the people you support, the mindset you posess, the values you have arrived at, and the fate that you are willing to accept for loyalty paid to fools and robberbarons.

If this is what pleases you, then by all means, play through, however, remember the phrase, "bow down to the one you serve, you're going to get what you deserve", hope you like crow, it tastes just like chicken. I'm sure you gave Clinton similar unbiased support, thanks in retrospect for all of that. BTW, WTFU when you get a chance.

The Movie:
http://www.bushsbrain.com/reviews.htm

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0002V7SMA/104-8980801-0708753?v=glance
Over-all the movie suggests that Rove has brought politics to a new low in ethics, and a new high in efficiency. Rove is a killing machine. He turned 9-11, and the war on Iraq, into political devices, and suggests that Rove, who has never served in uniform or in combat (nor have Cheney, Rice, or Wolfowitz), is essentially sacrificing American lives to keep his candidate in power.

The movie comes to closure with more than one commentator from Texas, where they all know Karl Rove *real well,* saying, "There's no rule he won't break."

Well, as a moderate Republican, I find this troubling. What was done to John McCain in the South Carolina Republican presidential primary, and to Max Cleland of South Carolina in his Senate race, strike me as so reprehensible as to call into question the future of the Republican Party.

I recommend this movie to every American, but especially to Republicans, in whose name some things are being done that should shame us all.

The Book:
http://images.amazon.com/images/P/0471423270.01._PIdp-schmooS,TopRight,7,-26_PE37_SCMZZZZZZZ_.jpg
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0471423270/104-0651606-3115925
If Texas reporters James Moore and Wayne Slater have it right, the reasonable conclusion to reach after reading "Bush's Brain" is that Bush's leading adviser Karl Rove is a man who lives for political conquest and is devoid of principle. This is not an attack piece and the writers, well grounded in the Texas political scene, use quotes from well connected political operatives and others close to the base of political operations to tell the story of how Rove rose from Lee Atwater's running mate to acquire leadership of the Young Republicans, then launched a soaring climb that resulted in his current heady position as chief political adviser and, from many accounts, top policy formulator to the nation's chief executive.

What a beautiful domestic agenda. A gal I know was crying in her beer the other night. She's not working and the unemployment is running out. She told me of this wonderful option. Glory be! She can have her debt forgiven. The only catch is she must go to Iraq to do it. She can go work over there. She is actually considering it...she can make enough to pay off the credit cards, too. The good thing about it is she can be showing her patriotism. I wasn't sure I believed her..I said "how did you find out about this deal? " she said "face to face." What a wonderful country we now live in.
