Olbermann story on "CusterBattles"
a private security contractor linked to "war crimes" in Iraq.

Had 4 ex-soldier/ex-employees describing Kurdish employees of CusterBattles shooting up innocent civilians.

One ex-soldier resigned after just 2 missions saying- If this is allowed to continue, the Iraqis will hate us even more than they already do......

Which begs the question, if we are doing such a great job in Iraq of providing security, restoring public services and the like, why would they (the Iraqis) hate us AT ALL?

1. That was a sobering story. Shooting teenagers on the street.
Random killings. These 'CONTRACT KILLERS' frighten the shit out of me.

3. Months ago...
...when the Nick Berg beheading happened, many on this board, including myself, found it curious that the Pentagon would employ South African mercenaries and former members of Pinochets death squads in "contractor" roles in Iraq, considering their specialities...

Perhaps some incidents should be revisited, especially considering what we know now about paid whores used to advance stories.

4. Anyone remember the El Salvador death squads
back in the 1980's. This story reminds of the right wing death squads that operated in El Salvador. I forgot who ran the death squads. Was it the C.I.A? The U.S. Military? Seems like this is the same M.O.

I sure someone out there has some information on this subject.

5. Think of Abrams and Negroponte from the Reagan years.
They are doing a number on Iraq now for the * administration.

6. The only surprise was how/why this got on TV
Really. And Lisa Myers doing the story, too. THAT, IMO, is the bigger issue/question.

Anyway, Google CB and see all the interesting stuff you come up with.

And I don't usually like to be grammar/diction police, but you've used the phrase "beg the question" incorrectly. What it really means is not "bring up or raise the question" but rather side-step or avoid the question. Really.
