I am deeply troubled by the verdict in the Zoloft Murder Case. I don't believe that children should be tried as adults and I also believe that SSRI's can cause homicidal and suicidal behavior. There is a website, DrugAwareness.org, that is asking people to write to Bush and to South Carolina's Governor to ask that this boy be pardoned. Now, I don't think there is a snowball's chance in hell that Bush would pardon this boy, in fact, he would probably advocate putting him to death. I've heard that South Carolina's Governor is not much better in the compassion department but I think it's worth a shot to write and express our concerns and ask him to consider a pardon.
Here is the link to DrugAwareness.org. Please check it out and join me in writing to the Governor to ask him to rectify this serious miscarriage of justice.
