I love that commercial with him and poppy 'cause he shows what a true President should look like. If you've ever seen that commercial notice who speaks the most--Bill Clinton. God how I miss those days. Now we have a spoiled idiot in the WH who is robbing th country blind.

1. I love Bill Clinton, too

I have his book on CD so I can listen to him in my car. I was thinking about getting it out again and playing the last part. He has a beautiful message about uniting the party and what our goals should be. He's so forgiving of all those hate mongers that crucified him.

2. I never appreciated him while he was in the WH

because my life was realtively easy and comfortable. I 'came of age politically' after he was in charge. I have since come to be aware of the avarice aimed at the poor w/ b*sh. I may have come to the party late..... but I'm gonna be here all night, AND wear a lampshade if need be.

4. as someone who

voted for him twice, I also took him for granted. I was mad as hell at him for the crap he took us through with the Lewinsky deal, but I was mainly mad at him for what he did to Hillary and Chelsea. I couldn't believe a man who is so smart could be so careless, knowing that the rwingers were waiting to nail him on anything so they could start impeachment hearings.

However, when you look at the strong united front the Democrats exhibited after the decision to not impeach blew me away. I was never so proud to be a Democrat. I remember listening to Al Gore stand proud behind Clinton. The rwingers learned this from us...'cause in this case we did stand united as Democrats:D --something that we need to do consistently.

5. During his trials I could not have cared less about Lewinski.

In all honesty, she was nothing more than a 'ping' on the radar. If I were his wife I would give a shit... otherwise... nothing there.......


The 2000 election placed me in the cross-hairs.
