Especially since I too had the Mycoplasma in the 90's.When I first got it nobody knew what it was.I got an AIDS test that turned up negitive but the doctor said I had the symptoms of AIDS,he was stumped so was I.I was young and had no sexual contact, wasen't a drug user,I had no clue how I got it.I cracked a joke about immaculate infection yet I was scared shitless.. My next doc was stumped by this illness too..He had to search for a place that was able to test to find out what I had. Meanwhile I was dangerously sick.I was so sick I coudln't eat I'd cough so much I'd lose whatever I ate from coughing so hard. I had to be walked to the bathroom because I was weak dizzy and feverish and I had to sleep upright in a chair lest my lungs fill up and cause more coughing. My tonsils were so swollen they rubbed each other.I got aquainted with late night TV. .Well eventually my doc found it was mycoplasma and he said it was very rare.Doxicyclene and eryithromycin helped. But before that I was on some of the strongest antibiotics known at that time. And it damaged my body. But at least I'm not dead . I still have achy joints and muscle pain,I am tired alot,my memory sucks despite plenty of therapy, and I get the night sweats.. Is the mycoplasma I got in the 90's gone or is it just in remission?
But if I was somehow infected by bioagents or caught it from my father, I am pissed.Royally.
My father was military and he died of cancer.Alot of people we knew on our street who had contact with military died of cancer.Out of ten houses 9 had one or more people in the household stricken with cancer,or some had flu-ish symptoms like mine were..My father came home from work with mysterious fevers ,rashes & blisters a couple of times. Nobody no doctor could figure out what it was when my mom tried to get help for him.
This interveiw is the first time I have seen some of these things I saw and lived through presented like this..
I want to know the truth.I'm not a vet,but I too deserve answers.
http://gulfwarvets.com/lecture.htm Any Gulf War veteran who has the Mycoplasma knows about night sweats. You have to change your linens twice a night. The muscle spasms get so bad that you can't stand it and people scream in pain. There is also loss of eyesight, breathing problems, and chest pains because the Mycoplasma settles in the atrium of the heart. All of these are problems that become worse.
