http://reuters.myway.com/article/20050216/2005-02-16T131714Z_01_L16612742_RTRIDST_0_NEWS-NUCLEAR-IRAN-DC.htmlLONDON (Reuters) - Israel said on Wednesday arch-foe Iran was just six months away from having the knowledge to build an atomic bomb, as Tehran accused the United States of using satellites "and other tools" to spy on its nuclear sites.
The Israeli warning followed Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's call last week for Iran to abandon any pursuit of nuclear weapons and meet its international obligations if it was to be sure of avoiding conflict.
"The question is not if the Iranians will have a nuclear bomb in 2009, 10 or 11, the main question is when are they going to have the knowledge to do it," Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom said on a visit to London.
"We believe in six months from today they will end all the tests and experiments they are doing to have that knowledge."Bombs away!!

all over again! Just insert "Iraq" for Iran" in that story...
Screw Bush, screw Sharon, and screw anyone who would further this American/Israeli crusade.

5. Then maybe Israel had better start being a bit more polite. |

I have generally been pro-Israeli and still tend to support most Israelis, but the Sharon regime is NOT worthy of the blood of US troops shed in its behalf. He is a thug as are his henchmen and I do not blame other nations in the area for wanting to have some deterrent against Israeli use of US troops as dogs against their people and homes.
ANY decent leader will seek to protect his people against aggression. Protecting is one thing. Sharon seeks the sort of annihilation he claims his enemies still demand against him.
Iranian leaders seek to assure the protection of their people and state. Who can really blame them. They saw what NOT having WMD did for Iraq.
