Here it comes?????

Iran blast report shocks world markets

http://today.reuters.co.uk/news/newsArticle.aspx?type=topNews&storyID=2005-02-16T155554Z_01_DOB649605_RTRUKOC_0_IRAN-BLAST.xml

snip - TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iranian state television has sent ripples through world financial markets after it reported a powerful explosion near the town of Dailam, about 100 miles (160 km) from the oil state's only nuclear power plant.

The Al-Alam satellite channel, which broadcasts in Arabic, said the explosion on Wednesday may have been caused by an aircraft firing a missile in a deserted area near Dailam or by a fuel tank falling from a plane.

But Iran's Revolutionary Guards said the television reports were wrong, although they declined to give any further details or confirm whether there had been an explosion.

With today's triggerhappy and nervousness worldwide - it would not be unreasonable to think that a situation such as this could, in fact, be a trigger to an all out conflict with Iran.

2. I have not heard or seen much in the MSM
In this regard. But, my gut is telling me that we are in for a $hitload of sorrow soon - very very soon.

While the world looks on at what is happening in Lebanon, and is busily trying to paint the blame on Syria....could it be that the Israeli's are taking matters into their own hands and striking out at Iran?

3. Goss stated Iran is our biggest threat...
sigh - sad really, but the neocons are SO predictable.

I think Iraq will suddenly "decide" to ask us to leave their country, bushco will declare IraQ a free democracy, pat themselves on the back a great deal and then immediately decamp for IraN.

just my guess. I mean - we have our military already right next door, why bring them all the way home when it's so much more convenient to go ahead and bring democracy to a third country?

:eyes:
