"Why is the Democratic party in trouble?"
We seem to have been hearing this line lately from both the right and left. Many here think there is a problem with the Democratic party.

I disagree.

Wasn't it just a year ago that Democrats were coming together from all across the country to defeat Bush. Didn't Dean inspire all of us to take down this administration. In defeat it seems like we allowed the right to make us believe we are in trouble.

John Kerry got more votes than Clinton, Gore, Reagan, etc...

Yes, there are some issues we need to address... the media, voting issues, finding a new leader... but we are far from being a lost party. All of those people that voted for Kerry want a change.

It shouldn't take much for us to take out country back. God knows that Bush is helping in every he can.

Keep your heads up. It's not the time to divide our party. It's time we speak, think, and act as one. It worked for the Republicans. Why can't it work for us?

I for one believe that there are many in the media that want to start reporting the facts. If we can gain some momentum, we might be able to get them on our side.

Go Dawgs!!

1. I agree with this optomistic tone
I"m not sure we will ever get the Media to do things right; I suspect they will continue to be lazy punkes, but in general I think there is a lot to be hopeful about. There are struggles, and certainly this is no time to be complacent, but there is no reason to despair just yet.

3. It's all about perception.
Just another part of the mighty GOP media effort to try and make it look like they are the party on the rise. They are the trend in American politics. They're what's new, hip, fashionable, cool, or hot. So don't be old fashion. Get with the program. Don't let your friends think your behind the times. Be Republican or be square. :puke:

5. They are full of it.
The Democratic Party ran fair campaigns, has sensible priorities, and isn't nearly as responsible for the criminal state of our government.

They are the ones who should be (and ARE) worried.
