I emailed this article to everyone I know. I think (although I don't know for sure) that online sites such as the Observer gauge reader interest by the number of times an article is emailed. Perhaps if we all email it to interested people we know, that will help give it legs as a news story.

Second -- I am curious about talon news itself. How long has it been in business? Who set it up? Jon Stewart (or was it Olbermann?) called it a "vanity news site", implying it has no intrinsic news value. But my question begs to go deeper -- i want to know who set it up, why they set it up, at whose suggestion they set it up, and with whose money it was set up. These may be impossible questions to answer, but again, maybe not. They seem as important, if not moreso, than whether Guckert ran an escort service out of his bathroom.

Who is "reporting" for them now? What other reporters are on the staff?

And lastly, why the name Talon? (refrain: "LET THE EAGLE SOAR")
