21. Not to question anyone's motives, but my sense is that

if people want to drop the Gannon angle, then this story is hitting VERY close to the bone--and Mr. Guckert is the WEAKEST LINK.

They need to lean on Jimmy-Jeff HARD. They need to shove him into a corner, let him know how long he could go to jail for say, tax evasion, or perhaps lying to FBI agents, and not let up until he sings like Pavarotti. And once he does, I'm betting that the fecal matter is gonna hit the oscillator!

Court News' Catherine Crier just reported on the story tonight and she was outraged. I think the MSM will catch up. We got to remember how far ahead the net can be on some stories.

This guy has engaged in prostitution, he is a tax cheat, how hard is it gonna be to lean on him? Hell, put him in a cold room with a single light bulb, remind him of the lobbyist who got caught out in the callboy scandal during Bush1 (who misteriously "suicided" himself five months after the story broke), and he'll be singing like Beverly Sills before ya know it.

In fact, this solves the whole freedom of the press issue. He isn't a "real" reporter, they can lean on him and leave the other bozos out of it. According to him, he was interviewed by the feebs but never went before the Grand Jury. I'll bet they've caught him in a lie...it is not nice to lie to federal agents, they can and will prosecute you for it...big time, as a certain senior admin official might say!

BTW...I tried to see when that site was last updated...or that Hauser added anything. All I could find with a 2005 copyright was a cartoon...the main news story links back to June, 2004. I wonder what Mr. Hauser is doing these days?
