The Plot Thickens: Was Guckert in the White House Before Talon News? And If So, Was Talon News a Front to Keep Guckert's White House Access Intact?


Did Gannon/Guckert get brought into the White House by Talon News -- or was it the other way around?

According to the Daily Kos article referenced above, Gannon/Guckert was bragging online about asking then-Press Secretary Ari Fleischer a question at a press briefing (in March of 2003) weeks before Talon News was even founded.

Did someone with knowledge of Gannon/Guckert's prostitution activities bring Gannon/Guckert into the White House, only to tell him he needed a valid press organization not to draw attention to his "daily" press pass?

And was Bobby Eberle then called in to save the day?

Is this why Gannon/Guckert went to the Broadcast School of Journalism at the last moment to, for $50, "become" a journalist?

Is this why Talon News originally had him listed as a "volunteer"?

Is this why Eberle and Gannon/Guckert refused all queries from the Standing Committee of Correspondents on whether or how there was any distinction between Eberle's pro-Bush GOPUSA.com and Talon News?

Is this why McClellan is presently bunkered at the White House, and has ignored three calls from U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) asking for information (presumably, including dates) regarding Gannon/Guckert's press credentialing?

Is the White House scared tonight?

And are we finally starting to unravel this story?

What's amazing is that this kind of a leak would be engineered through such an obvious front group. The latest swipe at Wilson and Plame was executed by a right-wing (neocon) news agency, Talon News, whose parent group is called "GOP USA."

8. Don't you think that the whole package was invented at the WH? They

just had to get the Eberle's onboard and fine someone like Gannon. They may have just fed him stuff. He may not have written anything. Then, in their pomp aand arrogance, they assumed they had all the cover-up on their side - because all they had to do was clue in the ceo of the corporate propaganda network. No one from the foreign press would peep for figuring it out for themselves or being clued in over drinks - because the pass is too important to them and their country - if they got kicked out of the country, it may take way too long to get a visa for their replacement.

9. Guckert's client list (for sexual services) would likely explain

his White House access. He is clearly not that bright or he would not have been running his mouth to Blitzer,etc. I don't think anyone with half a brain wanted him inside the White House but he has something (or a lot) on somebody like Ari or Scottie or a member of the Bush family.

I just read the whole thing. I already thought he was a tool of the White House but the interview pretty much confirms it.
