LOL - Wingnuts now comparing Mokhiber to Guckert!

Left-Wing Activist Poses as Reporter At White House Press Briefings - Where's the Outrage from th Media

WASHINGTON -- Accuracy in Media charged today that a liberal activist and associate of Ralph Nader has been obtaining access to White House press briefings while claiming to be a legitimate news reporter.

Russell Mokhiber, who sells a $795 a year newsletter that bashes corporations, attends the briefings to make obscure anti-Bush political points. Recently, for example, he asked spokesman Scott McClellan whether President Bush violated one of the Ten Commandments by invading Iraq. Mokhiber, who told AIM that he has never taken a journalism class in his life and was denied a permanent White House press pass, posts his ludicrous questions and answers on a far-left web site under the title "Scottie & Me."

LOL, what a bout the crucial difference between the two? Like that Mohkiber has spent the last few years as an activist and muckraker trying to ask the White House questions it doesn't want to answer. That's the very job of a WH reporter, to put them on the defensive - especially when dealing with a super-secretive bunch like this.

While Mokhiber was trying to make America a better place, Guckert was showing off his erection for the cameras and giving closet cases "hot workouts" for money.

Take a look at Mokhiber's stuff - it's great!

I love how they call him "far left". Sure he's far to the left - of this ultra-right-wing fascist administration!

1. Does Mokhiber come in on a day pass?
Is Mokhiber in tax debt (and still outstanding)?

Does Mokhiber prostitute himself for money?

:grr:

2. But according to conservatives,
the press is to bow down to Bushco and say, "Yes massa, anything you say, massa."

4. If he's been selling a newsletter for years, that's more than Talon
News, which is a free website which existed less-than-a-week whn "Jeff Gannon" got his press-pass for it.

5. Russell Mokhiber meets the criteria, by writing for a publication
with sales.

"Jeff Gannon" doesn't meet the criteria for getting into White House press conferences.

7. OK, there is a big difference between 17 years
of sales of a publication and few days of a free website.

And "Jeff Gannon" actually got into White House briefings even before Talon News:

8. And there's a big difference between a serious writer and a
male hooker hired on as a shill and stenographer.

Honestly, If this were Clinton, I wouldn't mind right-wing reporters asking some tough questions as they have of Bush.

And since Mokhiber is a "far-left" winger, he undoubtedly would've asked Clinton tough questions about his right-wing policies as well.

The problem is when you have a shill throwing softballs - that serves NOBODY's interest but the president's.

Can you imagine if Atrios or Bartcop had been in the press corps (after a long stint as a hooker) asking Clinton "What do you think is your greatest achievement, ending poverty, creating the internet boom, or singlehandedly saving Eastern Europe from genocide, and why can't the republican witch hunters focus on that rather than the personal life of a very charismatic man like yourself?"
