Best VP candidates

We all seem to have an interest in VP candidates, but we don't all have the same knowledge and experiences with these candidates. Who do you guys think would be good? What makes them good? What's are potential problems with that person? Please don't list Wesley Clark. We have beaten that subject to death.

1. I like Bill Richardson

He's a hispanic- I am an Indian and partial to minority voices- with plenty of experience and respect. Don't know much about him really, but what I do know I like.

I kind of like John Edwards for a VP candidate if Kerry gets the nomination.

2. Mary Landrieu

She has shown that she can stand up to the Repuke machine. She delivers at least one Southern state. She appeals to the soccer Mom vote big time. She is also damn smart and mad as hell at the way she was treated by Bush and his cronies in 2002.

If that is not enough, she apparently makes a mean gumbo too.
