Place your bets: I'm betting on an Orange Alert tomorrow....
The Gannon story is finally heating up: Anderson Cooper and NBC have done reports, and MoDo of the NY Times wrote a scathing op-ed. The heat will eventually reach those in the WH responsible for Guckert/Gannon's presence in the press room--McClellan, Rove, et al. will be named eventually. Which means it's high time the trusty old Orange Alert is trumpeted across the TV screens tomorrow. Any takers?

5. I was watching CNN international here in Paris and they showed
the CIA and the Pentagon bitches talking with some committee regarding Americas safety. They said that Al Quaida was still determined to attack within the states with standard bombs, but they had the monies to obtain nuclear and biological weapons.

"The war in Iraq, though not a direct cause of terrorism has become a cause for terrorist" Goss.

They're saying that the insurgency in Iraq has increased fundamentalist enlistment in terror camps.

Sounded to me like they were getting ready to increase the alerts.

Oh, and all the language they were spouting on CNN about the PMs assassination in Lebanon, sounds like Syria is the big dick's next target. I'd have paid money on Iran, all the signs point to Syria now.

Was the PM of Syria shown in the US pleading for continued talks with the US? He was emphatically denying Syrian involvement and asking what they could possibly have to gain with his assassination.
