1. Well, he is a smoker. That shaves a few years off.
Plus, motorcycles are dangerous, so there's a few more years.

What an absurd notion!

They buyer has no legal right to prevent him from selling his "everything" tomorrow is he wants to.

7. I have heard stories
Edited on Thu Feb-17-05 09:21 PM by Al-CIAda
of defendant atty's taking out life insurance policies on their clients. One story I am familiar with is ab atty. who takes out insurance policies on these near vagrants who are always in trouble for one thing or another. He gets them to sign over the policy to him for minor legal fees. These poor bastards have low life expectancies and he cashes in on an early death. He keeps a pool of about 30 going, so ecery year or so there is someone to collect off of.

9. Can't pay school bills
but has pretty fancy looking bikes. Possibly he didn't buy them himself, and of course med school costs are much more than what the bikes would be, but I still can't work up much sympathy for him. Makes me wonder if he spends his money on toys and fun.........

16. It's a high-risk, although perfectly legal, investment.
If...

1. he becomes wealthy and acquires lots of valuable property

2. You can successfully defend your claim to his estate

...you win.

Two mighty big ifs. I'd want to see the contract, first. And, even if it was tight, I still wouldn't bid a bunch of my money on something that may never pan out, unless he could prove that his prospects are stellar and his determination to get rich is strong. And if his photo and auction description are any indication... well, you be the judge.

15. Unless he dies....
before he can rewrite his will and supersede the one that he sells, the fool that buys this will just have a worthless piece of paper....absolutely nothing stopping him from writing another will...seems to me any lawyer wortjh his salt should be able to point that little detail out....
