Does it seem like the repugs are getting their comeuppance??

Or, at least, that the tide might be turning?

It's hard to read things, esp. these days, when there are so many things going on.

An analogy would be the ugly seeds they've sown are finally starting to sprout...

3. hell no
it seems like we are in the midst of a massive disinformation misdirection shitstorm.

They stole two (or perhaps three if you count 2002) national elections.
They either LIHOP'd or MIHOP'd 911.
They used 911 to phony up a pretext for invading Iraq.
'They' are an alliance of lunatic fundamentalist dominionists, megalomaniacal PNAC neoclowns, and the usual traditional corrupt corporatists thieves, they have no intention of 'getting a comeuppance'. The only question is When Will the Gloves Come Off?

10. Right but what I'm talking about is
- the Jeff Gannon saga (gets more lurid and sleazy daily)
- Boxer challenging the election and nailing Rice for her lies
- *'s failure at convincing people that dismantling SS is a good thing
- fellow repugs are distancing themselves from *'s SS plan and even speaking out against it
- Rice and Gonzalez committing perjury
- Repugs keeping parts of the 9/11 commission secret until after the election
- *'s stupidity at cutting 150 programs-- pissing lots of people off
- the recent article listing 34 scandals that have occurred since this gang took (literally) office
- *'s approval rating sliding down down down
- James Roosevelt Jr: Hume's "outrageous distortion" of FDR "calls for a retraction, an apology, maybe even a resignation"

Things like this-- lots of things-- all happening around the same time.

A lot of fires need putting out and I don't know if the repugs can keep up!!!

4. We'll know if this surge is real
if the terror alerts keep coming and get more strident. That always means the Repubs are worried. It's a direct relationship: the more anxiety for the Bushies due to public fatigue and scandal, the more we hear about impending terror attacks.
Bush's three card monte.
Keep the eye moving so you can hide reality.
Cause reality bites.

7. it's really eerie
Al Franken was at the Conservative polictical action conference in
Washington, DC. He interviewed Craig Shirley, it was very eerie, of
course Franken was doing the Democrats had a bad year mantra. Mr. Shirley said something very eerie, he said that the Democrats raised more money in the 2004 campaign than the Republicans. There was also
info on the book he wrote on Reagan's 1976 campaign and how he ran on the issues. I think that since January, there is a 'pulling away' from Bush and his cabinet by the mainstream republicans, it's very interesting. It's almost like the tide going out.

9. No that would be prison
Frog walks are probably not in the cards for most favored son. But stranger things have happened..haven't they????

But the tide may be turning a little because, yes, the media. Some actually get that PROPAGANDA is what has turned the wee minds in this country to be pro-Bush. It's not an accident. It's not because he's so good looking and smart. It's because of lies. And some people that make their living from words find it hard to keep up the facade.

It's cracking and it can only keep cracking.

Bush doesn't get another four years. Gotta bring him down now.

Lame duck is best served stone cold.
