I guess it's down to Bush couldn't handle press conferences, they needed
a plant in the press pool. One of the things about the Gannon story is that he was there for TWO years before this came out. TWO years and not one other "journalist" even suspected him of being a fake and dare to take the expose' on?

Gimme a break.

1. "not one journalist even suspected him of being a fake..." or, are they
all ...more like selling their souls to the devil in exchange for good salaries and their silence ... ? .. there are also those who claim intimidation and fear . I SAY, INTIMIDATION AND FEAR????!!! and they still write about Americah being the greatest Democracy on the face of the earth???? COMMON, SOMETHING'S GOT TO GIVE.

2. They knew. They are cowards and traitors to their craft.
Come on, this guy had ringer tattooed on his forehead. He was so obvious, he reeked with eau de faux journalist. They didn't want to rock the boat, lose their passes, get fired. After all, when Dowd didn't get her pass removed, the message was clear. What cowards. They could have out-sourced the story to the blogs back then and blown the whole fucking election away. Can you imagine "Gannon" in August. Short of reading his mind, for example, I am absolutely positive Dana Milbank of the PentaPost knew. I'd lay down a couple of Franklins on that right now.
